Branch #164 News

March  2010

Hi everyone, are you looking out the window and watching the snow melt? Wondering how soon can we start our garden? Wonderful thoughts right, with the weather so nice. Must admit it really was not a bad winter for our neck of the woods, and we being hardy Manitoban’s have kept busy with activities.

Mark on your calendar Tuesday, March 16, 2010 Branch Meeting 7:00 P.M. This is an important meeting and we would like Branch members to show up. Voting will take place for a new President. Cde. Otto Williams had to resign unfortunately due to Health reasons. If you have missed past news items or what’s happening at your local Legion go to our web site http://legion.lacdubonnet.info for updates/photo’s etc.

Many of our readers out there were wondering why the Legion Flag was at half mast for so long, so here’s the explanation. This was to honor Comrade John Babcock the last known Canadian veteran of WW1, and Honorary Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Cde. Babcock passed away at the age of 109 years. He was among 650,000 Canadians who served during WWI; through triumphs and tragedies; accomplishments and sacrifices. At the time of Cde. Babcock’s passing we united across Canada to honour the 68,000 Canadians who fell and to renew our pledge to never forget.

How about those Olympics’ in Vancouver? I’m still trying to catch up on sleep. The Canadian Athlete’s are to be commended for their sportsmanship and all the gold they received. However, the Canadian Men’s Hockey Team was a stopper; they knew how to keep us glued to TV and our seats.

Now that spring is due soon around the corner remember our Giant Garage Sale is coming up May 22, 2010. Hold on to your items (unfortunately we do not have storage room) as the time gets closer we will have more information on pick-up and deliver. No baby furniture or clothes.

The Branch will be hosting a dinner and Dance with live music March 20th. Tickets available at the Bar. Tickets are still available for the 43rd Biennial Convention taking placing in Winnipeg in June. The Branch receives a partial amount for selling tickets. July – August 2010 the 49th Legion Athletic Camp at the Peace Gardens will be taking place. Twelve exciting Sports are open to students. For more information contact Cde. Jackie Hampshire at 345-8665.

February  2010

Hi everyone, and here we are in February already. The weather person has certainly blessed us with warm weather and not too many storms. The roads have been good. Some of our comrades have gone away to warmer places and found it cool or stormy and others are still on holidays. However, all events at the Legion are on-going, and many thanks to the spares who come out to fill in at different games/cards etc.

The February Jam fest was on as usual, the first Saturday of each month. A big shout out to all the participants who came out to play and sing on an unsettled night of snow and winds. In conjunction with the Jam Fest the Entertainment Committee held a fish fry; this was very well attended, and tasty. Great job of all participants involved for both of these events. Due to a shortage of time there will be no Valentine Dance this month. However, watch the bulletin board next month. There will be a dinner and dance held Saturday, March 20. A baked ham and scalloped potato dinner will be served. Tickets will be available at the lounge.

On Tuesday, February 9th Cde. Sharron Wickstrom, Poppy Chairperson, presented a cheque of $3,100.00 to the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home from monies raised by the Poppy Fund. This will purchase an Acmax 80 Quantum pressurized mattress and four Invacare 9669 Drop Arm Commodes. This was possible only with the kind donations from the residents from Lac du Bonnet, Pinawa, Whitemouth and surrounding areas. A good job done

A little reminder on the Royal Canadian Legion Troop Morale Fund. The Lac du Bonnet Legion participates in this event the last Friday of each month. Remember all monies taken in for coffee purchased goes to the Troop Morale Fund. This is an initiative of the Legion to buy each of our troops posted to Afghanistan a Tim Horton’s coffee and doughnut at least every two weeks. It will continue to collect funds for this purpose until the mission ends.

Spring Fling is in swing again and this year it will tie in with Manitoba Homecoming. I shall keep you posted in the future of times/places/food.

Recently the Branch held a perogy bee and many bouquets to all who came out to help with preparing and cooking. I truly appreciate all you do for your branch; another bee will be coming up in the near future, so when you see my name on your call display you know it’s me calling again for your help.

A little reminder the local Branch will be holding a Garage Sale on Saturday May 22nd, 2010. As we have no where to store items it will be appreciated if you could hold on to any donations to this event until closer to the date. (No clothes or baby furniture please). As the date gets closer times/pick-up’s etc. will be arranged.

Legion Athletic Camp is fast approaching in July and August of this year. If you wish your child to take in the wonderful opportunity of Basketball, Volleyball, Advanced Track, Equestrian, Gymnastics and many more opportunities contact Jackie Hampshire at 345-8665.

Meat draws are still continuing on Saturday’s from 2:30 to 4:30 and is being well attended.

Sports:

Curling: 2010 Provincial Command Curling Championship-Regular Curling. Host: Beausejour Branch #132 – Wednesday, February 17- Sunday, February 21, 2010. We wish our team of Doug Silvester, Richard Schoeder, W. Schatkowsky and Pat Watson.

A job well done to Jackie and Bob. Those in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the comradeship and food. The Ladies Auxiliary also volunteered to do a spaghetti lunch to the Centennial School children and staff on the last Friday of each month for the year 2009 and 2010, thank you ladies. Happy New Year to everyone out there. It certainly has been cold, however, we hear it should be much warmer in a few days. We really won't know what to do with ourselves not seeing 30 below and strong winds. Oh well, remember we are known to be tough, even if we are not, let's pretend, it may be spring before we know it.

Latest Branch news update January 17, District Darts - Gimli; Cribbage, January 31 - Henderson Hwy; Valentine Dinner and Dance February 14; District Darts Lac du Bonnet- January 21. The Branch recently mailed out fundraising news to their members, hopefully you will all do your best to help out. This helps the Branch meet expenses. Jam Sessions are still a popular event the 1st Saturday of each month.

April will be a very busy month for the Branch as they are hosting the 2009 Provincial Command Dart Championships on April 17, 18 and 19. There will be a raffle draw and banquet on Saturday, April 18. There will be many new faces arriving checking out our wonderful town and business' at this time. On the same weekend we are also involved in the Annual Community Spring Fling as which the Branch is also a part of there will be more publicity forthcoming on both these events.

At this time I would like to say goodbye to all our readers as I have recently resigned from many activities. After being Ladies Auxiliary Past President for six years, plus working very hard for the Auxiliary it is time to leave the younger generation take their turn. I also with regret have left my position(s) as Publicity Chair and Entertainment Chair for the Branch, others will enjoy these positions. I have not left the Legion, I will still work on meat draw but it is time to retire and be with my family. All the best to whoever takes over these positions.

November 2008

Another busy month has quickly gone by, not sure yet if we are still in summer with the wet streets and warm weather or winter is playing a little game on us, and the worse is yet to come. However, I notice everyone is back in their schedules of curling, darts, table top, etc., which shows we are tough, hardy Canadians.

Leading up to November 11 was a very busy time for Branch, Ladies Auxiliary for their hard work of planning cooking and serving. The Poppy Committee who put on many miles delivering Poppy Boxes. Those involved in ticket sales, invitations and Speakers at different events a job well done.

No matter how small or big, it takes everyone to pull together for our Legion. Remembrance Day Service at the Legion Hall was filled to capacity. The R.C.M.P. were splendid in their Red Serge, as well as our Color Parties, they all looked great. The service began with the Marching on of Colors, then the National Anthem. Branch President Dwayne Wickstrom read the scripture. Padre Jake Doel said the homily, Past President, Lloyd Jones read the Honour Roll and Betty Dancyt played the piano. Wreath laying began with Comrade(s) Bill Toews and Norm Rimmer assisting the dignitaries involved. Following the wreath laying the Lutheran Church Choir sang "Peace In the Valley" a service always is special with a choir.

Both schools in Lac du Bonnet, The Centennial and Lac du Bonnet Senior had excellent and moving programs. The youth of our area are to be commended for their skills in speaking, music and community service. To bad there were not more parents attending. Those who did know our future is going to be in good hands. A good job by their leaders in the local schools and the curricular hours spend out of classrooms to all involved.

In the late afternoon a hot roast beef dinner with all the trimmings was served to the Branch and guests. A great meal for such a small price was the consensus remarked by those in attendance. Guest Speaker was Ms. Bonnie Korzeniowski, Manitoba Special Envoy for Military Affairs. After the meal, Ladies Auxiliary President Fay Dooley presented Branch President Dwayne Wickstrom with a $5000 cheque from the Ladies Auxiliary. Way to go Ladies, much hard work goes into fund raising by some very hard working Ladies.

Reminder on memberships, Branch and L.A. are now available. Early Bird for Branch is the end of November. L.A. is the end of December.

The Bowling Challenge took place on Sunday, November 2 at our local bowling lanes. This was a huge success and will be repeated next year. However, there can only be one winner and it was the L.A. (what can they say). Branch did well but I’m sure more practice for next year guys. Or maybe it was the Pom Pom Girls that helped the L.A. along. We’ll see next year, bet the Branch will have their own cheerleaders. Prizes were handed out to winning teams; all prizes were received with good humor.

Donations are still being taken for the Troop Moral Fund. The donation can is at the Lounge. All coffee proceeds on the 1st Friday of every month goes to provide our Service Personnel overseas with free coffee and donuts.

Sunday, November 23 Grey Cup Pot Lunch at the Legion, sign up sheets at the Lounge. Members and Guest welcome. Remember to hand in your Grey Cup tickets before this date.

The Branch and L.A recently made donations to the Christmas Hamper Committee.

On the Sports scene: Br. Regular & Senior Curling Deadline for signup is November 28. Br. playoff (if required) December 31. Br. Darts, Saturday, November 29, deadline for sign up Friday, November 21. Br. Cribbage Saturday, December 13, deadline for signup Wednesday, December 10. Where you will advance to the darts for Zone, District, Provincial, & Command are posted on the signup sheets on the bulletin board. Remembrance Day Tribute

A little about the poppy’s beginning.

Legion Remembrance programs commemorate the men and women who died in the military service of Canada during war and peace. Many believe that maintaining the tradition of Remembrance is a sacred trust and the Legion’s most important role. Districts, zones and branches commit thousands of volunteer hours each year to carry out Remembrance activities.

The Poppy has been widely recognized as a symbol of Remembrance, since it was first adopted in 1921. By wearing the poppy, we demonstrate our gratitude to those who gave their lives for the freedom we enjoy. Each year, for two weeks before Remembrance Day, Legions throughout Canada carry out the Poppy Campaign.

In 1931, parliament enacted the Armistice Day Act. The Act ensured that November 11th would be set aside as a day distinct and apart from any other observance upon which the nation could pay special tribute to those "who gave their lives that freedom might prevail". In 1970, an act, known as "The Holidays Act:, was passed by Parliament which included, among other holidays, Remembrance Day.

The work of the Legion is done primarily by volunteers. Perhaps you have seen a member in your community proudly wearing a uniform, along with their service medals. These members will soon be in the schools and Personal Care homes in the area.

The Royal Canadian Legion is a Public Trust of the Poppy Fund. The Poppy monies is not a benefit to your local Legion’s. All monies collected are approved by Command and where the monies go to in your area. The campaign raises awareness of the Poppy as a symbol of Remembrance. The basic purpose of the poppy funds is to provide assistance. Last year Lac du Bonnet Legion’s Poppy Fund Disbursement went to 2 Aspirators, Whitemouth Personal Care Home. One large wheelchair, Pinawa Hospital. One oxygen concentrator and two ajustable round dinning tables, Lac du Bonnet Personel Care Home.

Effective October 1, 2008 the Royal Canadian Legion in Lac du Bonnet received notice of the following change to the Dipping of Colours:

The Ritual & Awards Committee recommends that the Dominion Executive Council further resolve that all flags, colours, banners and other such devices carried in Legion colour parties be displayed in the same fashion as the National Flag of Canada, and that no dipping of colours of any sort shall be practiced by Legion Colour parties at any function, public or private, with the exception of the Legion Banner during the playing of the ‘Last Post’ for the purpose of Remembrance. This was passed by a December Special Meeting.

The Lac du Bonnet Legion would like to give a hugh thank you to everyone who donated money to the Poppy Campaign.

Remembrance Day Service was  held on November 11, Legion Hall at 10:30 sharp. Along with the service wreaths in memory were laid. Later in the afternoon a very tasty Roast Beef Dinner, was catered and donated to the Branch by the Ladies Auxiliary. The Poppy Campaign was very busy two weeks before Remembrance Day and the Color Parties also carried Colors for all the local Schools and Personal Care Homes in the area.

Once again the Ladies Auxiliary supported their Branch by donated $5000.00 to them at the Remembrance Day Dinner.

A series of photo's, the Lac du Bonnet Senior School Band, Candle Ceremony and Drama Club. Also our Veterans attending Remembrance Day Service and Dinner. Also is our color party during parade at one of the local schools. (Photo Album)

Darts and Table Top Curling are in full swing once again. Welcome back to all and hopefully a long warm fall. When one drives along the Fall Colors is beautiful. Have you looked at our Cenotaph, with the Fall Colors behind it is just quite striking. Would like to add a little comment here, many of our youth are playing on the beautiful structure placed for our veterans who fought for us. Just a reminder to all this is a place of respect.

The Octoberfest Dinner and Dance is coming up this weekend on the 18th. Hope members have their tickets (which can be purchased at the Lounge). Roast Pork/Sauerkraut and extras are on the menu along with a live band.

The Ladies Auxiliary‚s Charter Night will be held on Tuesday, October 28 for L.A. members only. Tickets can be purchased at the Lounge. The ladies are quite pleased that the Branch has agreed one again to serve them a hot sit down dinner.

In September the local Branch hosted a visitation from ANAF #1 from Winnipeg. Games were played, "Betty & Friends" kept everyone‚s toes tapping and a hot dinner was provided by the L.A. The Alzheimer‚s Coffee Break also took place on the day to coordinate the whole event.

Grey Cup tickets are presently being sold by the Branch, get yours, you may be the lucky winner.

Listen up guys and gals. The Challenge is on between the Ladies Auxiliary and the Branch. Bowling Challenge that is. Sunday November 2, 12 noon, turn up at the local bowling alley and cheer on your favorite team. The Ladies Auxiliary recently competed in Winnipeg for the Manitoba N.W. Ontario Bowling trophy, and brought it home. This was a great feat, as it eluded the Ladies for quite a few years. So on returning from Winnipeg with victory being theirs they challenged the Branch to fun bowling. See you there.

Lac du Bonnet Legion Branch #164 brought some big smiles to members of five community organizations on Monday.

The Legion gave out more than $4,500 to community groups around the region. The money came from both the branch itself and the branch’s Poppy Trust Fund. Money stored in the fund is raised by annual poppy sales carried out prior to Remembrance Day.

“We want people to know that the money we raise really does go back to the community,” Legion member Ann Okrainec said.

From the poppy fund, the Whitemouth Personal Care Home received $950 for the purchase of two aspirator machines. Pinawa Hospital received $1,150 to purchase general equipment, while the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home received $1,917 for an oxygen tank and two dining tables.

The branch itself donated $500 to the Beausejour Air Cadets Squadron #234, and $1,020 to the International Peace Garden Athletic camp.

Tuesday, June 17 Br. General Meeting 7:00 P.M.

This will be the last Branch meeting until September. Have a good summer.

Executive Meetings by the Branch and Ladies Auxiliary will carry on all summer. Jam Fests are held the 1st Saturday of each month, 7:00 P.M. at the Legion, attendance is free, everyone is welcome to attend, however, we appreciate non-members signing in at the door. The Branch‚s giant garage sale went over very well. The Branch appreciates all that donations received. The first Steak and Spud will be held on June 21. Tickets are available at the Lounge.

The local Branch held its Memorial Day with a very colorful parade; march off time was 1:00 p.m. Many color parties from other Legions participated along with the cadets. The march began at the Royal Canadian Legion with the R.C.M.P. leading the parade to the Cenotaph. A bus was very kindly supplied by Sunrise School Division to transport the veterans and others who could not make the long walk. Melanie Schwab opened the ceremony by singing our National Anthem. Legion #164 President read the Scripture; Pastor Jake Doell then said a prayer. Comrade Otto Williams read the Honor Roll.

Past President Lloyd Jones read out the dignitary‚s names that laid wreaths. On leaving the Cenotaph the march continued back the Legion with a salute along the way to Dignitaries in attendance, the Honorable G. Hawranik, MLA for Lac du Bonnet, V. Dates for Upcoming Meetings
Tuesday, May 20 Br. General Meeting 7:00 P.M.
Tuesday, May 27 L.A. Executive Meeting 7:00 P.M.

Remember all Legion Meetings are on Tuesday of each month. I hope this helps those wanting to attend General Meetings. There seemed to be some confusion. During the summer months of July and August there are no General Meetings for the Branch or L.A. But both still hold Executive Meetings in order to carry on business.

The Branch was involved in the Spring Fling activities at the Community Center in April, planning and hosting the Penny Carnival with the Recreation Office. It was a great success for the children. We appreciate all the help we received from those members who put their names forward.

The L.A. chose to set up a table to sell fresh baking items at the Spring Fling festivities making a total of $368.00. All monies earned will be forwarded to Needy Children Foundation Fund at the Peace Gardens Legion Sports Camp. At the last General Meeting the members decided to round off the figure and donated $500.00 to this worthy cause.

Great job ladies. Also during the Spring Fling event the Br. and L.A. served a lunch of bannock and homemade soup.

If you have any items to donate to this event feel free to call Dwayne at 345-6522 during the day. We would appreciate any items to be donated. If possible do not drop items off at the Legion until the 14th of May due to our limited space. If you need a pick-up (also not before this date) you can let us know at the above number. The canteen will be open for refreshments. For health reasons we will not be accepting any clothes adult/child or infant. We will also not accept any baby furniture. Your local Legion appreciates your help.

Welcome to Bill Toews who has accepted the position of Sick and Visiting to Branch members. Volunteers are always welcome.

On Saturday, April 5th the first Jam Fest of the season was held at the Legion and everyone was glad to get out and hear this wonderful group of individuals as the hall had an excellent turnout. The Jam Fest will be held the 1st Saturday of each month all summer. Mark this date on your calendar, everyone welcome. Non members must sign in at the door.

The Legion Ladies have been busy with catering. The L.A. was made aware of the Needy Children Fund. Prov. L.A. President, Emily Konopetski recently spoke of children arriving at the International Sports Camp at the Peace Gardens in need of a sleeping bag, shoes etc. As we believe in helping the youth it was decided to donate some monies towards the fund. The L.A. purchased a table at the upcoming Spring Fling on Saturday, April 19th and will hold a bake sale with all proceeds going to the Needy Children Fund. The L.A. also recently donated $325.00 toward the Lac du Bonnet Senior School Band Parents Committee. This donation also helps young adults who attend the International Band Camp. The Branch and L.A. both also made donations recently to the Joint Hospital Visiting Committee to help veterans in need of care.

The Branch is also involved in the up-coming Spring Fling on April 19. Soup and bannock will be served from 11:30 A.M. – 1:30 P.M. in the Legion hall jointly by the L.A. and Branch. Legion news

By Cde. Ann Okrainec
Friday March 14, 2008

Ladies Auxiliary provincial council president Emily Konopetski (centre), presents a plaque to auxiliary president Fay Dooley and Norwood/St. Boniface president Judi Vouriot.

Legion Athletic Camp will be starting from July 13, 2008 and running until August 23 inclusive. The camp is in need of dorm deans/cooks, helpers in any area. If you are interested in volunteering on any position towards the youth, contact your local Legion. Honorarium to you is a t-shirt, jacket and a full tank of gas home. This camp is very important to our youth in all areas, music, basketball, volleyball, equestrian etc. Brochures are around town and in all schools in your area.

Lac du Bonnet L.A. attended a District 6 Spring Rally hosted by the Selkirk Branch March 1st. The ladies brought home some hardware in the form of a plaque for most new members joining the Auxiliary in 2007. Our auxiliary was very proud to accept and share with Norwood/St. Boniface Legion a plaque on most members recruited during the past year.

There were many items of discussion during the day, only two legions were not in attendance from all of District 6. Later in the day a hot meal was prepared and served, prepared joinlt by the Selkirk brand and the Ladies Auxiliary. It was a nice finishing touch to end a productive day.

The Branch’s District 6 meeting is March 15 hosted by the Belgium Vets Branch in Winnipeg.

March 22 is Interlake Darts. Kerry Loe will be here with his dart supplies. The Branch is expecting Gimli, Selkirk, Pine Falls, Beausejour and Winnipeg. Should be a great day.

Reminder of the St. Patrick’s Day dance on March 15th. Also the Garage Sale is coming up May 17 if you are doing any spring cleaning, call your branch for items you would like donated.

The branch and auxiliary will be helping at the local Spring Fling taking place in April. Soup and bannock at noon in the Legion Hall. Children’s Carnival at the Community Centre, and the auxiliary will have a baking table of many items, all monies they receive will be donated to the Sports Foundation Needy Children Fund, which is helping the Youth who go to the Sport Camp but cannot afford running shoes/sleeping bag or amenities.

Is there interest out there among the members of a visitation to other branches in our district. A sign up sheet will be placed in the lounge, or you can contact Lloyd Jones.

Many events are taking place always at your local Legion, if you are interested in signing up as a member, the application forms are in the lounge. If you wish to become a Ladies Auxiliary member give Carmen Tetrault a call at 345-2239.

Our Legion has been busy. We are now on the net and you can follow our activities by connecting to http:/www.legion.lacdubonnet.info, this is a great site to enter. Bill Campbell really put a lot of effort into this endeavor with me.

On Saturday the Entertainment Committee headed up by Jim Law held a Valentine Dance and hot supper. It went off really well considering the weather; those in attendance had a good time and helped Lennart Larson celebrate a birthday. Look forward to March, better weather, and a St. Patrick's Day dinner and dance, information and tickets are available on the net and Legion reader board.

There were three new members initiated in the Ladies Auxiliary meeting on February 5th and 17 new members initiated at the Branch meeting on February 19th. Welcome all new members, if you wish to become involved on any committee you are more than welcome. A reader board is at the front entrance to the lounge. Committee names are posted if you want to contact any of them. February 23 there will be Sweetheart Darts at the Legion, as well as our regular Meat Draw.

The Ladies Auxiliary will be guests of Selkirk Legion for a District 6 meeting on March 1st. Branch will be attending a District 6 Meeting in Winnipeg at the Belgium Vets Legion on March 15th.

Congratulations to Beryl Savage and Joe Gurniak winners of Doubles in Provincial Cribbage recently at the Transcona Legion, their playoffs will be held March 8 at Fort Garry Legion in Winnipeg. The Sports Foundation tea will be held in Wpg. on February 24th.

All members who are thinking of spring-cleaning remember we will be holding a gigantic garage sale on May 17th. (No baby items please). More information will be forthcoming in the following weeks. However, you can contact our President, Dwayne Wickstrom at the Branch for information.

Two members of Lac du Bonnet’s Royal Canadian Legion branch 164 have made history after recently being elected to the Manitoba-Northwestern Ontario Ladies Auxiliary provincial council.

Emily Konopetski has assumed the role of president of the provincial council and Jackie Hampshire will serve as sergeant-at-arms. It is the first time that two ladies from the same Legion branch and district (both are members of District 6) have been elected to the council in the same year.

Konopetski has held all positions on the council and was elected president in Winnipeg at the council’s convention last year. Hampshire was elected at the same convention after the former sergeant-at-arms retired.

“We’re all so proud of them,” Ladies Auxiliary member Ann Okrainec said.

Both ladies have a combined total of 62 years -- exactly 31 years each -- in the Ladies Auxiliary.

Konopetski, 73, had five uncles who served in the Armed Forces, and said being a Legion member has always been important to her.

“I know what my uncles all went through and it’s important for me to remember that,” she said.
Hampshire, 56, echoed the same sentiments as well.

“My grandfather suffered for years as a result of his experiences (in battle). Remembrance Day was the hardest day on the calendar for him. He always said ‘I don’t need just one day to remember -- I think about it 365 days a year,’” she said.

Both ladies plan to stay active within the Legion for years to come.

“We believe in this organization and what it stands for,” Hampshire said

It may be the year that your children are spending Christmas with other loved ones, or gone on a holiday, so why must you sit home, come out and enjoy the company of others who find the day longer than usual. The Executive will do their best making your local Branch a place for members to enjoy.

Remember there is much to enjoy at your Branch such as Bingo, Pokeno, TableTop Curling, Darts, Bridge etc. Feel free to give us a call if you would like to become part of any activity taking place. In the mean time remember, February is not far away and it will warm up. A reminder also the Branch will be hosting a Valentine Dance, posters are posted around town.

On Saturday, January 26 the Lac du Bonnet Branch 61 hosted a Dart Tournament. A big thanks goes out to Dwayne Wickstrom and Beryl Savage for their dedication to sports and hours spent putting the events together. We were very pleased to have Zone 61 Commander Chuck Trefry in attendance. Congratulations to the winners. DART SINGLES: Tim Breton; Tony Moss and Dwayne Wickstrom.
